From her work as a non-profit executive–ensuring all families have access to pathways out of poverty–to her service as the only openly LGBT councilmember, Karin Uhlich has been there for us. With a big heart and Karin Uhlich 2open mind, Karin stood by our side and used her voice on the City Council to fight for everyone. Yet, it’s always been youth that have held a special place in her heart.

A longtime supporter of the Eon drop-in lounge, Karin knows that it’s imperative our youth have a safe place to access programming & services. That’s why she joined SAAF’s capital campaign to open the Thornhill Lopez Center on 4th (TLC4), serving as co-chair. TLC4 will be the home of not only Eon, but also other youth programming that provides empowerment-model, evidence-based practices that help cultivate a healthy and stigma-free society.

You can help make the Thornhill Lopez Center on 4th a reality and honor Karin Uhlich at the same time! As Karin says, “Together we can make the Thornhill Lopez Center on 4th a reality for our youth!”
