Our Mission
SAAF’S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE HEALTH, WELL-BEING, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE FOR THOSE LIVING WITH HIV, LGBTQ+ INDIVIDUALS, AND COMMUNITIES MARGINALIZED BY SOCIETY.
Dealing with a positive diagnosis and coming to terms with the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS may not be easy. But you don’t have to face it alone.
Our Early Intervention Specialists will help to identify your immediate needs.
PREP is a Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). It’s a pill you take once a day to help prevent HIV infection.
While PEP is given to an HIV-negative person who has had a possible recent exposure to HIV.
A SAAF space for youth who are just looking for a place that provides support, positive identity development, opportunity for growth, and the ability to safely connect with other LGBTQ+ and their allied peers.
Ingrained in SAAF’s history and success have been strong partnerships with community organizations, individuals, and volunteers.

The Southern Arizona community understands that AIDS challenges our community but together we can respond and define our humanity.
Your life matters.
