About Bowling for Tommy

2017 marks the 8th anniversary of SAAF’s newest fundraising event, Bowling for Tommy. Bowling for Tommy was first started in 2010 to honor the memory of Tommy Gin, a long time SAAF Board Member and Community Volunteer, who passed away in January 2010.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday January 21, 2017 at Fiesta Bowl, located at 501 West River Road. Doors open for registration and the raffle at 4:00pm with bowling starting promptly at 4:30pm.

Purchase Tickets

Online ticket sales are closed for this year;s event but you can purchase spots at the door beginning at 4:00pm on Saturday January 21. See you there!

Tickets are $30 each for a single spot and $180 for a lane for 6. Each bowler will receive:

  • Shoes
  • Pizza
  • Soda
  • 2 hours of bowling fun!

About Tommy Gin

Tommy Gin PicTommy was born on September 23, 1950 in Tucson, Arizona and passed away on January 14, 2010.  Tommy lived life to its fullest, attended Tucson High School where he played football and was proud to be a lifelong Badger! He was a sports enthusiast, especially at the University of Arizona, which he supported for many years. Tommy attended and cheered all of the fall, winter, and spring sport events! He had a reserved spot with his friends at every Wildcat Softball game. He was a loving and proud father, a good son, brother and great friend! He always had a smile on his face and gave endearing nicknames to those he loved. We will remember his love, kindness, and laughter. He will be dearly missed.
