About Bowling for Tommy
2018 marks the 9th anniversary of Bowling for Tommy, a fundraiser benefitting the programs, services, and LGBTQ Initiatives of the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF). Bowling for Tommy was first started in 2010 to honor the memory of Tommy Gin, a long time SAAF Board Member and Community Volunteer, who passed away in January 2010.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Fiesta Bowl, located at 501 West River Road. Doors open for registration and the raffle at 4:00pm with bowling starting promptly at 4:30pm.

About Tommy Gin
Tommy was born on September 23, 1950 in Tucson, Arizona and passed away on January 14, 2010. Tommy lived life to its fullest, attended Tucson High School where he played football and was proud to be a lifelong Badger! He was a sports enthusiast, especially at the University of Arizona, which he supported for many years. Tommy attended and cheered all of the fall, winter, and spring sport events! He had a reserved spot with his friends at every Wildcat Softball game. He was a loving and proud father, a good son, brother and great friend! He always had a smile on his face and gave endearing nicknames to those he loved. We will remember his love, kindness, and laughter. He will be dearly missed.
