Peer Counseling provides people living with HIV/AIDS with a caring person (peer counselor) living with or deeply affected by HIV/AIDS. The Peer Counselors conduct intake interviews with new clients, help locate treatment options, find appropriate referrals for special needs, provide emotional support, and help facilitate the problem-solving process with clients. Peer Counselors assist clients in becoming self-empowered.
If you are coming in for an intake interview with a Peer Counselor, please call (520) 628-SAAF (7223) or fill out the form below. For additional information, visit the New to SAAF page.
